Just some shots of our trip to Brazil!

Cute little boy that we met. He loved to look at his picture on our digital camera!

Above is a pic of us on top of Sugarloaf Mtn. in Rio de Janeiro. To the left is a pic of the cable cars we took to get up there. To the right is a pic of our room in Salvador. It had an awesome view of the quaint street below and the ocean in the distance!

To the left is another cute little vender on the streets in Salvador. There were so many cute children, but also such sadness to see these children on the streets at such a young age, some working and some begging! This little boy's smile was just as bright as the necklaces he was selling.
Above is a pic of us on a cliff between Copacobana and Ipanema in Rio. It was truly one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Verdade!

To the left was just the street scene in Salvador. There were very cool coble streets everywhere.

Above is a picture of our true extended family. A family trip just wouldn't be the same without the twins.

We missed the kids terribly, but they also had a wonderful time at home with Nana! Next time we will all go.

Thanks to Aunt Pam!

These towels were given to the kids by their GREAT Aunt Pam! We love them and just had to post a pic with them. Thanks you!

Cousins and best friends!

First Sleepover

This was Addison's first official sleepover with her cousins. They had so much fun taking a bubble bath, getting their nails painted, and having a picnic in Rye's room. They are such great friends and we are blessed that they live so close!

If you have not met her yet, this is Ashley, one of Addie's favorite friends. When we asked her what her name was I think she said Asheville, but we took the next closest things and now she has become apart of the fam!

He can even play upside down!

Richard found this keyboard for the kids, however WE like it just as much, and it has provided hours of entertainment. Only Richard has such an ability to find such a treasure in someone else's trash.

Our "Tiny Dancer"

Addison got this little tutu from Poppi and Noni. She loves to put it on and dance for us. We have this video of her dancing in a little leotard to some hip hop song. I will try to get it on this site because it is just too cute. She is quite a ham, but doesn't usually cooperate with getting her picture taken. Richard thinks she picked that up from me, but I either have to try to capture her when she is unaware or bribe her with some sort of treat. This morning it was a juice box!

Well, I am back to business now! My dad gave us his old camera so we are hopefully going to be doing a better job at keeping this updated.

This was our little man this morning. He is always smiling and laughing with this infectious little giggle...it sounds just like Addie's laugh. He has 2 bottom teeth now that you can't see in pic, but it looks like he is getting 2 very large teeth on top now. I guess he is going to be getting some large teeth to fill up his big smile! He is pulling up on things now and can kind of walk behind this little push cart he has. He is 9.5 months now, and just starting to pick on Addie already. He will always reach for what she is playing with, and thinks she is about the most funny person right now. They are each other's biggest fan and I love it! I am sure the fighting will start soon enough, though.
